WILL KILLEN just dropped another bomb – the coolest lyric video for “Overthinking” that we saw to date.
Will is one of the artists that we love to death and we wanted to know how he came up with the idea for such an original lyric video.
Can you share the inspiration behind the concept for the video?
This lyric video was a hell of a task. Many awkward encounters and mild forms of vandalisation later, here we are.
The inspiration came about from the line ‘Keep your distance’, which I actually got from the road sign pictured in the video.

At a glance, I read it how it’s intended in the song: telling someone to keep their distance as if it belonged to them. From there I thought, why not scatter some more lyrics around and capture them on film.
It was really fun all-in-all, and I can’t wait to experiment further putting visuals to my music.

What was the inspiration behind ‘Overthinking‘?
Frustration. I’m past it now, but with one out-of-the-blue message, this song’s fire was ignited.
I was just tired of getting into really bad thought cycles, so this sort of came as an outburst to that feeling.
