Scoop Monty is a twenty-year-old songwriter/producer from Brighton. He blends strong grooves and complex vocal arrangements with a woozy neo-soul backdrop, inspired by the likes of Alt J, Jordan Rakei and Matt Corby. His live set involves a 6 piece band who smoothly transition through Monty?s intricate chord progressions, interludes and surprise rhythm changes whilst journeying through a variety of effects taken from Scoop?s own productions to showcase a set of catchy yet interesting original compositions.
