‘I feel good’ is the brand new dreamy single from 21-year-old Swedish singer/songwriter Wilma Saga, and it’s the first release that the artist has shared in nearly four years. A sweet, downtempo, electro-pop hit, the tune sees Saga expressing pure joy and exuberance after going through a tough time. The track is a rich and soulful one, with Saga’s vocal performance truly stealing the show. At just 21 years old, the musician displays incredible range, control, and confidence.
Saga is currently based in Stockholm and is studying at the Birkagården Folkhögskola music school. What does the song mean to you?
To me, this song is about a feeling of passion. It’s about a time in life when you’ve been through a rough time, like a breakup, and you finally start to feel okay again. And you realize there’s so much joy in just living!
Who do you hope the song resonates with the most?
Everyone that’s been through a relationship that ended and came out realizing how good it feels to be happy with yourself, both with and without a partner.
What do you hope to achieve with this song?
I would of course love to see ‘I feel good’ get some recognition, it would be cool if I could reach out to more people! Other than that I would love for this song to be relatable to someone, maybe even make someone feel independent and you know, feel good!
Which Netflix series or movie would you like your music to be featured in?
I mean it would be incredible just to be featured on anything on Netflix! Maybe Outer Banks? Or Sex Education!
