The brand new single from Brisbane based moody-pop rockers, Tragic Me, is a fantastically catchy and high energy tune filled with epic guitar riffs, thumping bass and captivating melodies. 2020 saw the band change their musical direction, and welcome two new members to further enhance and energise their sound. I think it’s fair to say – it worked! They sound ready for a big stage. Dances Alone is the follow-up to For The Night (another cracking song) and the second single off of the band’s upcoming EP, Overthought. “Nothing spells trouble like you and me,” sings lead vocalist Alex Thompson-Tark. “Finding the faults in our chemistry. She packs up her things and the memories they had.” It tells a tale of fleeting love, our dependency on finding someone, and learning to be happy with yourself and who you are – but in the most infectious way!
Tragic Me tells a beautiful and heartbreaking tale that they’ve somehow turned into a seriously catchy and vibrant hit.
