Following the release of New Zealand artist Tarn PK’s vibrant debut EP Fantasy, he was driven to study commercial music to elevate the sense of accessibility and engagement of his music even more. But the events of 2020, and the lockdown that had occurred in New Zealand, threw a bit of a curveball in Tarn PK’s direction, in terms of the sound he wanted to pursue. With the ambition to distance himself more from the world of pop music, and instead found his place in the more folk-focused territory. ‘Sky Is Falling’ is the second single to tease Tarn PK’s upcoming sophomore EP Monarch, following ‘Serenity’, and continues to display a unique fusion of Tarn PK’s pop experience, and his more newfound folk feel. We were captivated by this gorgeous melody and look forward to the release of the upcoming EP.
