‘After All This Time’ is the silky-smooth new single from Sydney-based singer/songwriter Wesley Stormer, who performs under the moniker of Sun Affair. We at Indie Top 39 fell pretty hard for his previous release, ‘Waiting For An Answer’, and ‘After All This Time’ beautifully continues the journey in the same jazzy, soulful vein. Again working alongside producer Tim Coggins, the track features the polished vocals of Rohan Iyer, as the threesome team up yet again and create pure magic. Laid-back, full of warmth, and irresistibly cool, ‘After All This Time’ has a charming allure to it, and has an almost timeless quality in that, if someone told you it was released in the 70s, you’d believe them. I think that’s quite remarkable and incredibly rare in today’s musical landscape. There’s something rather special about what Sun Affair is doing musically, and we think it’s time the world started to take notice.
Sun Affair delivers yet again! This time with a jazzy, soulful, and alluring tune in the form of ‘After All This Time’!

What does the song mean to you?
I wrote ‘After All This Time’ quite awhile ago so it’s meant a few different things to me over the years. To me it shows the power of nostalgia and how people often idealise the past.
What do you hope to achieve with this song?
I hope the song finds its way to people all around the world and it brings them some joy over the holiday season. Would love to think someone somewhere is having a dance to ‘After All This Time’ right now.
Tell us about your creative process and how the song came to be?
I’ve been sitting on this song for a while so the process has been a long one! I initially just had the two main chords for the verse that I would mess around with and eventually came up with the pre chorus hook. From there I built up the concept of the song and after I jammed with Rohan (vocalist) it all came together.
Which Netflix series or movie would you like your music to be featured in?
Russian Doll. That show has such a top soundtrack and I think ‘After All Its Time’ with its themes of memory and nostalgia would suit it very well.
