Starting his musical releases off in 2019, Galway-based singer/songwriter Seba Safe still stands as a relatively fresh face on the scene. However, with his deep and dreamy brand of indie-pop sound, it’s little surprise that his fanbase is steadily growing. Following on from his final single release of 2020, ‘In Waiting’ Seba Safe offers us something a little different; that being an acoustic cover of said song. While this cover definitely strips things back musically, to the point where it definitely brings a heightened sense of intimacy, we still get our fair share of dreamy synth sounds, albeit further into the background of this track’s composition, and we feel that this only elevates said intimacy even further. That being said, this acoustic relative to ‘In Waiting’ fits into his discography, whilst feeling uniquely wholesome.
