Following their 2019 EP Big Smoke Sessions, the experimental duo redbook, which consists of Swiss-born soulful vocalist Soraya Grosso and British guitarist Jake Tweddle, release their second 2020 single, which they have named ‘Little Friend’. Pushing the genre-bending boat out even further, ‘Little Friend’ clearly signifies that redbook aren’t showing any signs of slowing down, even with this peculiar year coming to a close. Remarkably enough, this track carries a great sense of depth, while simultaneously sounding brilliantly raw and intimate. The steady and soulful progression that comes into full effect in the latter part of ‘Little Friend’ really feels like the icing on this tasty musical cake.
