Toronto-based vocalist and songwriter LOR returns to the scene with her incredibly poignant new single ‘Sip’. Following hot on the heels of her widely acclaimed debut single ‘Used To, ‘Sip’ is a beautifully intimate little tune with tender piano chords and a somewhat unexpected ukulele that LOR just makes work! It’s the perfect foundation for the artist’s airy, honeyed, and gentle vocals – and it’s these vocals that are beginning to cause quite a stir within the industry. She worked alongside producer SLWJMZ (Sean Leon, Freddie Gibbs) and vocal producer Nevon Sinclair to create ‘Sip,’ and the unique, genre-bending sounds that they’ve come up with are utterly genius.
A song that openly and honestly explores a past relationship, LOR is not afraid to get deeply personal and deal with raw emotions. That, combined with her incredible songwriting skills, will put her in seriously good stead going forward!
‘Sip’ is a beautifully intimate and astoundingly honest tune from a ridiculously talented artist.
