Iraina Mancini is a London-based singer/songwriter, DJ, and radio host. On her incredible new single, ‘Do It (You Stole The Rhythm), the multi-talented Mancini lets loose in the best possible way! Understanding the worlds current need for “togetherness” and exultation, the song is an upbeat, uplifting, and anthemic tune that’s as bright and cheerful as the artist herself. Capturing the feelings of pure joy and excitement when you’re surrounded by loved ones and there’s music, sunshine, and laughter, Mancini displays a razor-sharp knack for songwriting as well as storytelling. Do It (You Stole The Rhythm) was produced by the legendary Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers, Reverend and the Makers), and follows hot on the heels of Mancini’s previous singles ‘Shotgun’ and ‘Deep End’. The musician’s tunes are starting to gain serious traction worldwide, and we at Indie Top 39 believe it’s richly, richly deserved.
Mancini has been able to capture the feelings of pure bliss and jubilation on the incredibly uplifting and anthemic ‘Do It (You Stole The Rhythm).

What does the song mean to you?
I wrote this about that feeling of pure joy when you are surrounded by people you care about and there is music, sunshine, laughter and great energy. There is almost a magic in the air when all those things are combined, an electricity that makes you feel truly alive. I tried to capture that in this song as I thought now more than ever we are craving togetherness and joy.
What inspired you to share the song with the world?
I felt more now than ever that we need people coming together, joy and great energy. Its been a tough couple years for everyone and we are finally seeing the back of it all. There seemed no better time to release this!
Tell us about your creative process and how the song came to be?
I was listening to a lot of psychedelic 60’s stuff in the studio with my producer Jagz Kooner. We were raiding his record collection and getting lost in the big cinematic soundscapes and anthemic feeling a lot of that music had from that time. I wanted to bring that energy into a song and ‘Do It’ was born.
What do you want to achieve in the next 12 months with your music?
I want to keep releasing great music and put together my album. I have an amazing band of musicians now and have started playing live so I’m excited for shows and festivals next year.
