‘Advice’ is the first single of four to be released by UK based alternative act, Hollows.Using the pandemic to hone in on their signature sound, the quartet show off their high energy and edgy style. ‘Advice’ is gritty and raw, with that classic sound that Manchester is famous for. Fuzzy guitars and an infectious chorus are the order of the day here, along with the vocal talents of Sean Davies, who’s the perfect mix of Brian Molko and Liam Gallagher. ‘Advice’ is destined to be a crowd-pleaser, with its thundering presence and its classic rock and roll attitude. With three new singles still to be released this year, Hollows have gotten off to the perfect start, and we wait with bated breath to see what else the talented outfit have up their sleeves.
Manchester has been a hotbed of musical talent for decades now, and with the release of ‘Advice,’ Hollows seem like worthy compatriots to join the scene.

What does ‘Advice’ mean to you?
The song is all about those little bits of advice that people seem to love giving out a bit too late. It’s like, retrospect is a funny thing because you realise things maybe could have been done better but you can’t do anything to change that which means the past doesn’t really matter.
Please finish the sentence: “Music to us is…”
Music to us is basically who we are. We know that’s a bit cliche, but we’ve all studied music at some point and spent most of our lives writing songs, going to gigs or just surrounding ourselves with different bands and genres.
