‘THE DOME’ is the brand new soulful tune from Miami-based singer/songwriter Dyna Edyne. Serving as the debut single from the artist’s recently released EP entitled MAHOGANY, ‘THE DOME’ leans heavily on hip-hop and R&B influences. It’s Edyne’s vocal capabilities, however, that steal the show on this one! Her sultry, airy, and unapologetically honest performance intertwines perfectly with the beat and takes you on a dreamy little trip for the duration of the track.
A song that is essentially about liberation, the importance of self-love, and affirming ones worth in this world, ‘THE DOME’ showcases a crazily talented artist whose flow and overall style is simply intoxicating. The song plays out with a killer guitar solo, the perfect wind down to the journey you’ve just been taken on. We at Indie Top 39 can’t wait to sink our teeth into Edyne’s new EP and get the feeling that it may be something quite special.
‘THE DOME’ is an instant hit! A banging and soulful tune from a crazily gifted musician!

What does the song mean to you?
This song is about liberation in a way. The lyrics “Going off the top of the dome” symbolizes the beauty of letting things flow and the freestyle culture that I grew up in and still use today to create my songs.
Who do you hope the song resonates with the most?
I hope this song resonates most with hip-hop and R&B lovers. It almost seems reminiscent of raw hip hop and smooth R&B music and I hope that what listeners get a feel for. Rawness, genuine piece of my art.
What are your favourite lyrics in the song?
“And I can’t relate from what they tell me I’m like a broken case”
It highlights how out of the box I typically feel. Society is so brainwashed to following the rules, staying in line, working then dying and I feel like that line taps into being a rebellious soul with my own plans and dreams. Others may say I’m a broken case but inside is diamonds.
What inspired you to share the song with the world?
The natural feeling that I personally got from it after I made it. I felt like it was such a bop, made me want to bob my head and just kinda chill and vibe to the serenading of my tone. So I felt other people will feel it too.
