‘Heaven’ is the brand new single from Dublin-based multi-instrumentalist Tadhg Collins, better known by his musical alias Dream Eyes. The synth-filled, ethereal track sees Dream Eyes sending out a positive message around embracing reality, and not falling too deep into our “daydreams” so to speak. A slow and steady build-up eventually leads to the catchiest of choruses, and Collins takes his vocal performance to the next level. “How could I save you now
when I don’t know, that these lights don’t just lead to more.” The artist’s story is a rather unique and inspiring one. A serious motorbike accident in 2019 left his left arm paralysed for over a year, but this didn’t deter Collins. He moved towards a more electronic sound and eventually relearned guitar and piano. You simply have to admire the tenacity! ‘Heaven’ is the artist’s fourth single, and the future is undoubtedly bright for this talented musician!
‘Heaven’ gets stuck in your head in the best possible way! A cracking tune from Dream Eyes.

What does the song mean to you?
This song express the pleasure and also pain of dwelling in our dreams and daydreams too much. It calls out for the necessity to meet and love life on it’s own terms and celebrate it.
Tell us about your creative process and how the song came to be?
I use a process of coming up with as many ideas as I want in the initial creative phase and then taking forward the best or most exciting of those songs. This is how ‘Heaven’ began, as a demo idea that progressed through collaboration with my friend/colleague Kieran Lane.
What do you want to achieve in the next 12 months with your music?
I’d like to increase the amount and quality of music that I produce and get that music out to as many people as possible. I’m very excited with some of the demo tracks that are currently in progress. Also I can’t wait to get back on stage and hear ‘Heaven’ played in a venue!
