‘Honeydew (Honey Don’t)’ is the brand new infectious single from Canadian-based indie synth-pop duo An Hour a Minute. Consisting of old high school buddies, Darko and George, the pair recently reconnected during the pandemic and immediately got to work on a collection of both old and new tracks. As their third release of this year, ‘Honeydew (Honey Don’t)’ sees the duo continue on their nostalgia-laced, sunshine-filled, catchy-as-hell way! “This song went through a few different iterations,” says the band. “The final product is very different from what we had originally!”
Their previous singles, ‘Mile Away’, and ‘Never Know’, were extremely well-received, and the pair are starting to create their own unique and refreshing sound. This can only bode well for their musical future, and we at Indie Top 39 cannot wait to hear what else this talented twosome have up their sleeves!
Melodic, infectious, and laced with nostalgia and anemoia, ‘Honeydew (Honey Don’t)’ is everything you need right now.
