Another debut release of any kind, ‘We Are On Fire’ is the infectious, feel good tune proudly brought to you by Brighton based indie pop/rock act, After Arden. Assembled by their mentor, Grammy winning producer Pete Smith, the trio first got to know each other from their respective countries – France, Germany and Norway, before eventually all making the move to Brighton. ‘We Are On Fire’ is a dazzling and anthemic debut filled with sweet vocal harmonies and an unapologetically catchy chorus. An expertly constructed song about embracing your inner child and spontaneity in general. It’s truly hard to believe that this is After Arden’s first offering. An exciting prospect indeed! Not content with simply writing the music, the band also produced, mixed, arranged and recorded the track. With a debut EP not far off, the future is certainly bright for After Arden.

What does the song mean to you?
The absolute world! It’s a song about letting go and living in the moment.
What inspired you to share the song with the world?
It was important for us to share this song with the world because it’s a proper summer tune about living in the moment and making the most of a passionate connection. We believe people can really relate to that this year.
Tell us about your creative process and how the song came to be?
Our trio dynamic allowed us to write this song with passion, excitement and thought. The song was written in one room – with each band member there and pitching ideas. This song is a perfect blend of all three members.
What do you want to achieve in the next 12 months with your music?
Our aim in the next year is to get our music out there and share our passion with people who support, appreciate and understand our music.
