‘Miss Him the Most’ is the magnificent brand new single from Seattle-based pianist and singer/songwriter Abby London. The track is an exquisite tribute to her long-haired feline friend Kronos, and sees Abby pouring out her heart and soul for all the world to hear. The musician said that she, “had to put this out to close a chapter…and open a new one.” As a fellow cat lover, and someone who has also lost their best feline friend in the past, ‘Miss Him the Most’ is completely relatable, understandable, and above all, heartbreakingly beautiful. “I’m not even gonna try, I know I never will replace that guy,” sings Abby. “He is the one I miss the most.” The artist’s vocal performance also deserves a special mention – tender, soulful, and honest – it’s just so appealing. We at Indie Top 39 can’t wait to hear what Abby London has in store for us next!
‘Miss Him the Most’ is a beautifully melancholic and tender song from a supremely talented musician.

What does the song mean to you?
This is a tribute song for Kronos, a human-like, unique-like-a snowflake, long haired, bossy, precious, loud, funny, sweet black haired cat who moved on from this word. We shared an especially unique and strong bond. He was my companion through the ups and downs of life– through through breakups, getting sober, losing friends, getting friends. I know I’ll never replace that guy and I miss him the most.
What are your favourite lyrics in the song?
“He was precious he was loud. I let him boss me around and he made me laugh. Been with him through seven cars, six boyfriends, being done with bar, healthy, happy, sick and sad.” I love these lyrics most because of the way it feels when I sing them. They are faster than the other parts of the song and I feel like I’m taking off with them like on an airplane. They are a notable summary of the relationship I had with Kronos– all the things one goes through with a pet. There is so much history and it’s part of why it’s so hard to let go when they pass.
When did you realise that music is what you wanted to do?
I’ve been making songs for as long as I can remember being able. I knew at age five for sure. I remember making a shadowbox in kindergarten with me as a singer/artist. I used a Jem doll for it.
What do you want to achieve in the next 12 months with your music?
In the next 12 months I would like to have a full album out and for sale online and physically too. Also, to promote and grow my patrons on Patreon, release five or more singles, expand my Instsgram followers by making more reels (I have great ideas coming for that!), and grow my MeWe page (https://mewe.com/p/abbylondonmusic).
