Our friendship with badass female duo JØAN started at the beginning of 2020 after they released debut single, cinematic take on Fleetwood Mac’s song ‘Go Your Own Way’. Since then we were blown away by the quality of sound that Shani Rose and Chelsea Davies is creating.
Their 4th single ‘Lights In The Shadows’ made such a massive impact on us that we named it as the best song of 2020.
At the start of 2021, we had an opportunity to talk to Shani and Chelsea on the day of the release of their 5th single ‘Didn’t See Me Coming’. It was a truly unique experience as it was the first time when we got to see their faces too. For those following the duo, you know that they haven’t shared photos of themselves on their socials.
We are gutted that it took us way too long to finally share the interview. If we could turn back the time, we would! We are grateful that the band were super patient with us.
