*** debut single |
This week we have nine new entries. Some are really fresh tracks, others were waiting for its turn.
The highest new entry belongs to KØLEEN who brings a hauntingly beautiful video ‘What Am I Waiting For?’. The song lands straight at number ten.
Florent Simon is a French singer-songwriter and instrumentalist who shared his latest single ‘Could I Be’ and it hit exactly the right chords with us.
When I first came across ‘Too Little, Too Late’ I was attracted to the band’s name The Celadors as it reminds me on Donnie Darko but then when I started listening to the track it gave me goosebumps. And yes the band is not going to sing about climate change.
Another new entry comes from France and we are thrilled to welcome Usko who brings a sound that absolutely love. Mixing world music with modern beats is the way to go!
Dawm Somek from Tel Aviv is such a sweetheart and we had a chance to talk to her live. Her energy is captivating and ‘One Day’ is exactly what we need right now.
Odd Postures is a Toronto based 3-piece indie-electronic rock band. ‘Gymnasium’ is their debut single that today starts its journey on our chart.
Toby Whyle is a brand new name to our chart and ‘No One Moves’ is a quite a statement of a debut track that got us moving. Even thought it was released in November it finally managed to get into the chart!
Amsterdam based producer and songwriter Juze wrote ‘Next To Me’ as an ode to his girlfriend who is stuck in the UK. Lockdown impacted many couples and it is a song of longing and trying to make long distance relationships work.
The last new entry belongs to a Frankfurt-based Simon Jela. It is hard to believe that ‘Imprudent Things’ is his debut that was released on the 1st of January. We feel the future is bright for Simon.
