On their brand-new EP, “This is Karmic”, the female-fronted electro-pop act, Karmic, bring an
eclectic, uplifting and all-around sexy sound to the fore.
The Los Angeles based act takes a unique approach to their sound. Colourful guitar licks,
hooky pop melodies and euphonic, driving synths are the order of the day on “This is Karmic”.
Signed up with Bad Owl Records, Karmic are showing signs of a band on a mission. Their music sends a powerful message to the listener. A message of fearlessness, positivity, togetherness and healing.
Led by vocalists Laura Baruch and Kylee Katch, Karmic draw inspiration from a wide range of
artists and bands. Glass Animals, Haim and Arcade Fire are just a few notable mentions.
And when asked who their dream collaboration would be, the band respond with a firm answer of, course Rihanna! For even more girl power!?
Karmic, galvanised by what’s going on in the world, hope to spread their positive energy across the world. Through hard times, the band hope to make a connection with their audience. And given their recent success, this connection seems to be mutual.
We think artists can definitely make more of an effort to write more songs that will help change the world for the good
A sentiment that is certainly hard to argue against.
Having recently returned from their Higher Self tour, Karmic is set to hit the road again.
Their hypnotic and fiery live sets will leave you buzzing for more so if you reside in Austria
or Germany, be sure to check them out later this month and next!
