NII is a Songwriter/Guitarist and a singer from London and currently based in Leeds.
His real name is Nii Adu-Aryee, and when it came down to choosing a pseudonym, he decided to go by his name.
NII has written his first single “Midnight In Tokyo” earlier this year. I asked NII what the song is about:
The song is about a longing to run away and discover the world with somebody special, my ?carpe diem? anthem so to speak.
The carefree and youthful vibe I tapped into in this song has become more and more important for me as I get older and experience more responsibility.
I think it?s important to keep some na?vet? to allow yourself to dream bigger and live your best life,
?Midnight in Tokyo? is my ode to that sentiment.
