Tinashe Fazakerley better-known as RATIONALE is a Zimbabwe-born British singer-songwriter, formerly known as Tinash?.
I first discovered his haunting voice with the song “Fuel To The Fire” that entered TOP 16 at the end of 2015.
However, I can admit that I was completely hooked on his next single “Something For Nothing”, that used the sample that reminded me of SHURA’s “Touch”. The song spent 4 weeks at the top of the chart and became one of the best songs of 2016 and instantly I became a fan.
Since then there were so many songs that entered the chart, however, only “Prodigal Son” managed to reach number 1 at the end of last year.
It seems I wasn’t the only one counting the days until the album is released

I was curious to see how the debut album will sound. Even though few of my favourite tracks “Something For Nothing”, “Palms” and “Tethered” didn’t make the final cut, the album takes you on a journey one needs to take.
I had a chance of seeing RATIONALE perform live earlier this year and it was one of the most memorable gigs of the year. You can still catch him perform live later this month at ELECTRIC BALLROOM.
Listen to the debut album below:
Here are several songs that are worth mentioning that sadly didn’t make the album:
