Don’t you just love a slice of classic R’n’B? Late night vibes, smooth, slow tempo instrumentals, and sensuous vocals transporting you into a dream-like state of consciousness… well, that’s how we felt while listening to Alan Peck’s newest offering, the mellow jewel ‘Dazed’. With solid gospel roots, the American talent is certainly not a surprise, especially after his previous single ‘Bliss’, a welcome comeback earlier this year. Nevertheless, ‘Dazed’ showcases yet again what a wonderful songwriter he is. Channelling old-school R’n’B, the track wants to explore its authors’ romantic lyricism, focused on the “battles between infatuation and true love”. Help us shade a light, Alan.
