OK friends, today we’ve got something a little special for you. ‘Let’s Go Back’ is the brand new (and first-ever) release from Dutch-based indie-disco duo Thrillionaires, but if you were hoping to find out more about them, I’m afraid you’re out of luck. Little is known about the elusive duo, but the question I suppose is, does that really matter?
Their first official offering is a cracking, upbeat, indie-pop hit – and it sees Thrillionaires wishing for life to go back to how it used to be. “A place where we knew just who we were,” they say. ‘Let’s Go Back’ is also an offering to dance away the blues, remember the better times, and simply get lost in time for four minutes and five seconds. There’s no doubting the quality that Thrillionaires have to offer, and all we can do at Indie Top 39 is wait for their follow-up!
A cracking, upbeat, indie-pop hit, ‘Let’s Go Back’ is a seriously exciting debut release from a duo we’ll be following closely!

What does the song mean to you?
‘Let’s Go Back’ is an energetic song about returning to the world as we once knew it. About longing for desperate times to be over. About wishing to go dancing again.
What do you hope to achieve with this song?
With ‘Let’s Go Back’ we believe we appeal to a strong and universal feeling of wanting to return to the way things were, feeling free again, and to start dancing again. It is about time, isn’t it?!
Tell us about your creative process and how the song came to be?
Thrillionaires are a bit of a mystery. There is reason to believe that we are a duo, sometimes working with guest artists.
What does success mean to you?
‘Let’s Go Back’ has been streamed in 25 countries in its first weeks. People are sending us videos of themselves dancing to it, literally from all over the globe. We are making a video right now, with all these clips coming together. To see the world is still dancing makes us happy. If we can contribute to uniting the world with our music, even in a small way, then that is our definition of success.
