Tanoki is the musical project of Irish based songwriter, producer, and visual artist Paul Mahon. On his brand new single, ‘Let Go’, Tanoki enlists the help of singer/songwriter, Farah Elle, who adds delicate piano pieces and lyrics to Tanoki’s original idea. The synth-filled, dreamy, dynamic tune showcases the musician’s signature style – blending both real and synthetic instrumentation. Throw in a couple of vocal samples from The Twilight Zone and the ethereal, hypnotic vocals of Elle, and ‘Let Go’ becomes the ultimate chill-out track that you didn’t know you needed in your life right now! Recorded and produced at Geppetto Studios, Mahon’s home studio in Kilkenny, ‘Let Go’ is the second single from his upcoming debut album, File New. The originality and uniqueness of Tanoki’s sound cannot be underestimated. It’s intriguing and fresh and pulls you in straight from the off.
Tanoki creates the dreamiest of soundscapes for you to float along to on his innovative and mesmerising new track, ‘Let Go’.
