After starting off their discography with a splash, in the form of their cover of Drake’s ‘Passionfruit’, this week sees listeners finally receive the debut original single from Portsmouth-based disco-pop duo Ivy Eye. And with what is virtually our first full taste of their aesthetic, Ivy Eye certainly didn’t disappoint. Titled ‘Peace Of Mind’, this debut single absolutely oozes with a colourful and vibrant groove, which in turn also gives off a convincingly retro vibe. The duo’s love for classic disco and funk tracks well and truly shines through on ‘Peace Of Mind’, and with the warmer days almost here, we are highly excited to see what Ivy Eye bless us with in the all-important summer of 2021.
