Our friend Jacko Hooper dropped such a sick tune that it is no surprise that it already managed to reach the top spot on our chart. Jacko had numerous singles on the chart previously, but it is the first he reaches the number one!
The highest new entry this week belongs to David, The Giant as ‘How Long (Is Too Long?)’ lands at number nine.
We discovered Ryan Nealon earlier in the year after the release of his previous single ‘Mistakes’ which gathered over 150k streams on Spotify. However his latest single ‘Lights Out’ really got our attention.
NOSI is bringing a truly haunting song and we are really glad that ‘colourblind’ enters the chart at number eighteen.
‘Orbit’ is the 3rd single from Brighton based band Talkslow. We believe that these guys have a bright future ahead of them as with each single their sounds get more and more polished.
Hansom Ēli is a magnetic duo from Montreal who return to the chart for the second time with their latest single ‘Flow Of The River’ that was captured in one of the best music videos of 2020.
Izzie Yardley is an independent alt-folk artist based in London and we were mesmarrized by her voice and the overall sound of ‘I’m Still Here’.
The last new entry belongs to the artist who as well returns to the chart. This time Féz brings a solo instrumental piece ‘The Call Centre” (Original Soundtrack)’. It’s not hard to pick up the influences from the 80’s but as well the track sounds so fresh.
If you like the music, make sure to give a shout on socials and tag the artists you discovered. Don’t be shy and spread the indie music vibe. Only together we can break algorithms and support the artists who are doing it all independently.
